Emma chaired a panel discussion at The Pub Show, held at London Olympia. Panelists included Charlie Gilkes (Inception Group) and Andy Waugh (Mac & Wild) who shared ideas about how to provide an exciting ‘experience’ for pub goers.
British Guild of Beer Writers – Presentation of Awards (November 2019)
Emma presented the awards at the annual British Guild of Beer Writers Awards Dinner, held at One Great George Street, just off Parliament Square in central London.
Obadiah Poundage Launch – Goose Island (November 2019)
Emma chaired a discussion at the UK launch of Obadiah Poundage – the recreation of a 19th century London Porter – at Goose Island Brewpub in Shoreditch, London. On the panel were Mike Siegel (Goose Island, Chicago), Ron Pattinson (beer historian) and Derek Prentice (Wimbledon Brewery & London brewing legend).
Thornbridge Beer Tastings – Peakender (August 2019)
Emma hosted tastings of Thornbridge Brewery beers, and interviewed head brewer, Dominic Driscoll, at the annual Peakender Festival.
Keynote Speaker – SIBA BeerX (March 2019)
Emma delivered the keynote speech to the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) at their annual Beer X conference in Liverpool.
