Selected Events

Brighton & Hove Beer Week (2018-present)
Emma is the founder of Brighton & Hove Beer Week, a city-wide celebration of all things beer. The inaugural Brighton & Hove Beer Week took place from Friday 24 August – Sunday 2 September 2018 and involved more than thirty venues and sixty events across the ten-day period. There were tours, tap takeovers, talks, food, music and some of the more quirky events that make the city’s beer scene so special.

Learning & Discovery Pavilion – Cambridge Beer Festival (May 2019)
Emma was invited by CAMRA to curate and host the first Learning & Discovery Pavilion at the world-famous Cambridge Beer Festival. She put together a week-long line-up that included Lily Waite (Queer Brewing Project), Sophie de Ronde (Burnt Mill) and Miranda & Bates (Duration Brewing).

Frockabilly (2009-2018)
More than a decade ago, Emma founded Frockabilly, a series of queer-run (straight-friendly!) vintage club nights that celebrated the music and style of the 1950s. This event later morphed into Frockabilly Radio Show on Brighton’s Radio Reverb.
